DIY: Quote/Lyric Wall Art

Creating a quote/lyric wall art is much easier than it seems, and it is a wonderful addition to any home/room. Let’s get started.

What You Need:

  • a painting
  • letter stickers
  • scissors
  • spray paint

1.) Pick a painting you like from anywhere! I might suggest a thrift store. Keep in mind you will be painting over most of it.

2.) The letters will be placed onto the painting in any fashion you desire. I suggest cutting out the letters before peeling them off to place on the painting. This way you can organize the placement.

**Know the amount of area you have to work with so you purchase the correct size letters! ALSO pay attention to the bottom of the packaging, it should list the amount of individual letters in contains. Here is what I bought:**

3.) Once you have placed the sticker letters as you wish to your painting, next is time to spray paint. I had extra pieces of card board to practice on, because you are going to very lightly spray over the painting and letters.

4.) Let your painting dry for maybe 20 minutes, and you are ready to peel off the letter stickers!

5.) Hang your new art work!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, please let me know if you have any questions!
