Catch These Food Trucks (If You Can!)

As food trucks started returning – I was going anywhere to catch a specific sandwich, burger, dumplings, etc. Now I’m a little more likely to go if it is closer to me rather than a random neighborhood – so I’ve been stalking them for us!

Bae’s Burgers

While this truck may only have four burger options currently, I am here to tell you how delicious each one is. Smash burger patties where The Boss comes with two patties and bacon, La Gringa has their delicious mayo, as well as The Sunburn with bacon and egg, and lastly The Pretender is their plant based burger! A link in their bio makes ordering online too easy with their locations present. This week they will be at Dreamchasers Brewery Friday night, then Pins Mechanical Saturday night.

Momo Food Truck

The family owned Momo Truck is bringing Himalayan cuisine to us on the go in the form of dumplings, rice and noodle bowls, rolls, tacos, and more! Their hand crafted sauce over the dumplings is SO GOOD. The marinated chicken was equally delicious! Their basmati rice and sautéed veggies were such a nice touch. We look forward to catching them again very soon – they will be serving dinner at Triple C Friday, Dreamchaser’s Brewery Saturday, and Noda Brewing Sunday day!

Passport Pizza CLT

I can’t help but start this out with if you’ve been needing some WAP in your life, Passport Pizza is located at Unknown Brewing and has all the delicious Wings And Pizza you could want! Now that I’ve made myself laugh — seriously. The Italian, Thai, Lebanese, Mexican, West Coast, Korean, and Cheese pies are all extremely flavorful! I think the Thai was my favorite, Danny’s was the Korean. We were lucky enough to try the hot, garlic Parmesan, and BBQ wings. Keep an eye out for special wing flavors! They are open the same hours as Unknown Brewing off S Mint St.

Kre8 Twisted Eats

Kre8 has a kitchen in the South End location of Wooden Robot! You may be familiar with their pork ‘n macaroni egg rolls or pretzel nugs and Chef Rob’s beer cheese. These folks ‘Kre8’ some seriously delicious dishes! We have been fans for years when they started as a food truck. Now you can find them in restaurant at the South End location or back on the truck! The truck is typically parked at Hoppin’, but I highly recommend following their Instagram for accuracy. Bao bun tacos, wonton nachos, the best shrimp quesadilla I’ve ever had, always something different on deck. They may have also catered our wedding!

I recommend following all food trucks on social media channels they have, as ANYTHING can change in a minute! Can’t wait to feature more food trucks around the city for you guys.
