The Queen and Glass

We finally made our way to The Queen and Glass and could absolutely kick ourselves for not going sooner.

Already came in knowing the cocktails would be insane since Bob Peters was behind the bar! After many posts of their rotating cocktails and dishes, we set it in stone last Saturday. Which we are working on, making plans. We too often wing our evenings and end up in repeat spots (that won’t stop) or not even eating (hoping that will stop, lol).

Skimming the cocktails because – priorities – we loved The Office names. “The Dundie’s”, “What Is So Stupid About Wanting to Name a Baby Usher?”, and “I’m Not Superstitious But I Am A Little Stitious” to name a few. The last with Montelobos mezcal, fresh pressed grapefruit juice, Campari, and montenegro. Wow!

Though it was our first visit, it was a quick one. So we opted for two of the shareable plates. Steak Tartare Tater Tots is not something you should pass up. Housemade smoked tater tots, steak tartare, pickled mustard seed. Everything complimented each other so well!

Next up, the meatball trio. Not the easiest to share because it is three meatballs and, they are SO GOOD you really won’t want to. Korean bulgogi with jasmine rice, Italian with tomato sauce and noodles, and middle eastern falafel with tzatziki sauce. The bulgogi being the favorite of the bunch.

We cannot wait to return and experience more dreamy cocktails, shared plates, and definitely some entrees! The atmosphere was very chill for a Saturday around 9pm, the football game was on the TV’s with awesome old school rap playing. Quaint, small space with the perfect vibes to sit back and take it all in.
